Carol Castro self-taught cake-decorating when 16 years old using Wilton-method books. Then, in 1998, she traveled to Chicago, IL. for the Wilton School of Cake Decorating and Confectionery Art Master Course, studying under Sandra Folsom and Mr. Wilton, son of the founder. Carol uses Wilton products daily.
Carol has been an active member and former Vice President of the Wichita Falls Art Association since 2002. She participates in association shows and has won several awards. Check out her biography on their site.
Carol has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Valdosta State University, graduating suma cum laude in 2001.
Carol is a former member of the Red River Quilter's Quild. She often uses quilting tools in making tile.
